Intrusion Sensor Fault The Intrusion sensor has detected a fault. This sensor is a thru-beam type sensor which uses a transmitter and receiver. One unit is located behind the Main Control Cabinet near the machine outfeed end. The second unit is mounted near the Infeed Conveyor motor. Possible Causes: 1) An object or individual is blocking the photo eye beam. 2) The sensor or mounting bracket is out of adjustment causing mis-alignment of the beam between the transmitter and receiver unit. 3) The sensor or wiring to the sensor is damaged. Possible Solutions: 1) Remove any obstructions blocking the photo eye beam. 2) Adjust the sensor transmitter and receiver unit mounting hardware so that proper alignment occurs. 3) Replace the transmitter and/or receiver unit if the module is damaged or electrical system no longer operates properly. 4) Replace wiring or cables as necessary if damaged.
